The PiLA Fellowship Showcase celebrates a year of service, learning, challenge, and growth across Latin America and the Caribbean.
Throughout their fellowship year, PiLA Fellows take on meaningful roles with partner organizations working across education, public health, environmental conservation, youth development, entrepreneurship, community development, and more. Their work looks different in every placement — and so do the lessons, relationships, accomplishments, and unexpected challenges that shape their fellowship experiences.
The Fellowship Showcase gives our fellows an opportunity to bring those experiences together and share them with the wider PiLA community.
More Than a Year of Service
Behind every PiLA Fellowship is a year of hard work, unexpected challenges, meaningful relationships, and countless moments of growth.
During the Showcase, fellows will reflect on the projects they supported, the communities and organizations they joined, the skills they developed, and what they learned from living and working in a new cultural and professional environment.
Rather than simply describing their job responsibilities, we want fellows to tell the story of their fellowship year: What did they contribute? What challenged them? What changed? What will they carry forward?
