We’re excited to introduce a new PiLA tradition: the PiLA Fellowship Showcase, a three-part virtual event celebrating the experiences, accomplishments, and growth of our Fellows during their year of service across Latin America and the Caribbean.
The inaugural Showcase will take place over three Wednesday evenings:
Wednesday, August 26 | 7:30–9:00 p.m. ET
Wednesday, September 2 | 7:30–9:00 p.m. ET
Wednesday, September 9 | 7:30–9:00 p.m. ET
[Register for the PiLA Fellowship Showcase here.]
Each week, a different panel of PiLA Fellows will take the virtual stage to share stories from their Fellowship year. Fellows will introduce their host organizations and communities, highlight the projects and initiatives they contributed to, reflect on challenges and lessons learned, and share how their experiences have shaped them personally and professionally.
Behind every PiLA Fellowship is a year of hard work, unexpected challenges, meaningful relationships, and countless moments of growth. The Fellowship Showcase creates an opportunity for Fellows to reflect on that year and, importantly, to tell the story of their work in their own words.
It is also an opportunity for the broader PiLA community to get an inside look at what a Fellowship year can entail. Whether you are a PiLA alum, partner, prospective applicant, supporter, family member, or friend, we hope you’ll join us to celebrate our Fellows, learn more about the incredible organizations they have served alongside, and hear firsthand about their experiences living and working throughout the region.
Join us for one evening—or all three—as we celebrate a year of service, learning, and impact!
